If you're a college student, you may have discovered that your school has a presence on Facebook or Twitter, but does it have pins and boards on Pinterest? Schools often find Pinterest to be a great way to connect with and instill school spirit in students through images of prominent alumni, athletic events, and even baked goods inspired by a school's colors. Many schools also post inspiring messages on their boards to help students persevere through the school year. Check out these ten universities' Pinterests to learn more about the schools and discover the various ways that a school can utilize a Pinterest account.

Marquette University. This school, located in Milwaukee, sure knows how to stir up school spirit online. Its Pinterest has everything from alumni's wedding photos to images of celebrities who attended Marquette. Did you know that Chris Farley and Dwayne Wade attended the school? Another board commemorates Marquette's Catholic and Jesuit heritage through photos of religious figures at the school.
Drake University. Drake University's Pinterest offers fun boards reflecting its Bulldog culture. This Pinterest illustrates that being a Bulldog isn't limited to celebrating the school colors or being a part of its fan base - it's also about bringing the Bulldog culture off campus.
