Both traditional and online corporate training degrees are available at a variety of levels. Associate degrees may include business administration and human resources management. Bachelor's degrees may also be offered in these concentrations or come as a more general business degree. Online corporate training programs offered at the graduate level include master and doctoral degrees in human resources, management or leadership. You can even find a Master's of Education in Corporate Training and Knowledge Management available online. A closer examination of the program shows that it is targeted at those who want to expand their assessment, instruction, and leaderships skills within corporate learning communities. Example courses include "Adult Learning Theory," "Managing e-Learning," and "Strategic Planning for Educators." For those who already have a degree, some schools offer certificates for graduate level corporate training programs.

After graduation, those with corporate training degrees often go on to work as training and development specialists or managers. The need for specialists is expected to grow 24 percent from 2008-2018, according to BLS data. Managers will see somewhat slower growth of 12 percent during that same time frame. In 2010, the BLS reported specialists earned mean annual wages of $57,280 while managers earned mean annual wages of $95,800. Perhaps surprisingly, businesses are not the only employers for those with corporate training degrees. Local governments have the second highest level of hiring for training and development managers. Finally, there are other career opportunities for those who have completed corporate training programs. These jobs may include human resources managers, compensation specialists or hiring agents.
